Ghida is a counselling psychologist specializing in individual and group therapy. She consults for many international organizations supporting humanitarian workers and their families on issues related to transition, critical incident, adjustment and resiliency. Having herself been a humanitarian worker for UNHCR, she provides psychological support to individuals and groups living or working in conflict zones and trains international aid workers and journalists before they leave for their assignments and missions in conflict affected areas. She is also a trainer and a facilitator with experience in coaching and mentoring. She possesses extensive experience in facilitating learning programmes and trainings for children, adolescents and adults as well as conducting assessments of learning needs. Ghida has excellent organizational skills and has overseen workshops and conferences for in-house and international training for organizations such as UNHCR and the International Organization for Migration. Ghida co-founded “Metanoia, the stress and trauma center in the Middle-East and North Africa”. This center specializes in supporting humanitarian organizations working nationally and globally.
