Winston Mano is a Reader and a member of the University of Westminster’s top-rated Communication and Media Research Institute (CAMRI). He is the current and founding Director of the Africa Media Centre and a Course Leader for the MA in Media and Development which he created in 2011. Winston is the Principal Editor of the Journal of African Media Studies and has researched, presented and published on issues related to media and communication in Africa, especially radio, audiences, journalism, music and democracy. He sits on the board of many international journals and was the winner of the ZAA Academic Award in 2012.
